On July 14, during a meeting with political parties, New Rights proposed broadening the membership of the IATF by adding representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs.

The IATF has agreed with this recommendation by New Rights. It has implemened relevant changes to the decree that defines the IATF’s mandate via a decision dated July 17 by the Chairman of IATF—National Securty Advisor Giga Bokeria. With these changes, two members have been added to the IATF:

1. Irina Kurdadze, Deputy Minister of Education and Science;
2. Irakli Giorgobiani, First Deputy Minister of Labor, Health, and Social Affairs. 

The IATF will continue its consultations with political parties and stakeholders participating in the electoral process.
