A working meeting, on the enhancement of the Crisis Management System, was held at the NSC Office
8 April 2021With the coordination of the National Security Council’s Office, within the framework of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP), a working meeting was held on the enhancement of the Crisis Management System.
The Director of the National Crisis Management Center (Department) of the National Security Council’s Office, Giorgi Ghibradze opened the meeting with the welcoming remarks.
Mr. Jacob Bang Jeppesen, the representative of the Emergency Management Agency of the Kingdom of Denmark, a leading country in the implementation of the SNGP Crisis Management Initiative, shared, with the participants, the Danish experience in the field of crisis management.
The current crisis management system of Georgia, the action plan for the implementation of the Crisis Management Initiative within the framework of the Substantial NATO-Georgia Package (SNGP) and future activities were discussed at the meeting.
Representatives of relevant agencies - the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs also participated in the meeting.
